2nd March 2018

Due to weather conditions across the region, Children’s Heart Surgery Fund’s Comedy Night planned to take place on Friday 2 March has been postponed. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets – they will remain valid for the new date and we will update you as soon as we can.

Date: Postponed
Time: Doors open at 6:30pm
Tickets: £15
Location: Aspire, Leeds

MC  Martin Semple will take us through the evening, calling on his experiences as a soldier to turn potentially terrifying situations into hilarious material. He is a hugely talented member of the stand-up comedy circuit.

Opening  Ivo Graham started stand-up in 2009 and became the youngest ever winner of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny award at the Edinburgh Fringe. His gauche charm and crafty, self-aware wit has proved a hit with audiences of all ages, and led to appearances on shows including Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Comedy Central At The Comedy Store, As Yet Untitled, Live From the BBC and Fighting Talk. He has written for various other TV comedy shows, as well as his own sitcom projects in development with Big Talk Productions and the BBC.

Middle  This section will be dedicated to an auction, with all proceeds to Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.

Closing  Danny Posthillstar of Britain’s Got Talent, has been making people laugh since being talked into doing impressions at his school talent show aged 16. His unbeatable stand up includes a string of impressions such as Jimmy Carr, Billy Connolly, Lee Evans plus many more to guarantee a night of laughter you will never forget.

Food will be available to purchase, cooked by BBC MasterChef finalist Tom Rennolds. Expect homemade fries, burgers and burritos.
