#FundraisingFriday: April 19

This Friday is not just GOOD, it’s FANTASTIC and that’s because of all our amazing supporters. This week’s #FundraisingFriday celebrates all your incredible Easter generosity and we can’t thank you all enough!

Melanie & Jayden

Melanie popped in to CHSF HQ with Jayden and a donation of Easter treats for Ward L51. Melanie remembers Jayden being in hospital at Christmas time and how kind people were to make that time special and so they wanted to give something back.

Charlotte & Isabelle

Charlotte collected Easter Eggs at School and in her community to donate to Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. She was supported by her sister Isabelle and mum Julie.

Thank you so much girls, and everyone who donated! Your eggs have been allocated across the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit and will make a real difference to children in hospital at Easter.

Kimberley Sara

Kimberley is a teacher at Greasbrough Primary School and students have been busy collecting eggs for the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit.

Kimberley said:

All the children love donating the eggs and all get very excited about it. It’s been brilliant this year as I’ve been off having treatment at the heart unit so they’re all very motivated. Although I have been informed by several of the kids that I am not allowed an egg!

Joey & Harley Watts

Thank you Joey & Harley for your kind donation of this giant teddy bear. This will help to raise funds for Children’s Heart Surgery Fund at the next Superhero Walk in September.
