What is Disability Living Allowance (DLA)?
If you are looking after a child with a health condition or disability who is under 16, they may be entitled to a benefit called Disability Living Allowance or ‘DLA’.
DLA is extra money you might be able to claim to help with the added expense of caring for a child under 16 with a health condition, a physical or mental disability or mobility needs.
You may be entitled to claim DLA due to your child’s heart condition, and can find out more about eligibility and how to apply on the government website…
