Children's Heart Surgery Fund supports children and adults born with congenital heart disease across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

Working alongside the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit at Leeds General Infirmary, we are funded by generous donations from the general public, our corporate supporters and by the amazing efforts of our fundraisers. We’re only able to help because of your support, thank you!

Why donate?

Over 400 children have open heart surgery at the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit each year, and around 10,000 are treated as outpatients. Our support also extends to adult congenital heart patients.

Thanks to your generous donations, we can support patients and their families through the most difficult times of their lives. Your support will help them both now, and in the future.

Where does your donation go?

Your fundraising could pay for:

£10 A Katie Bear teddy and medal for each child after surgery

£30 A birthday present for a long-term patient on the ward

£100 Attendance at a conference for a clinical staff member

£230 The use of broadband for patients on the ward for one year
