Life at Children's Heart Surgery

CHSF is a community and heart families are involved in all we do. No matter what your role, you will support Family and Fundraising events happening throughout the year from running a tombola to being there at the finishing line to cheer on CHSF runners! We all play our part and enjoy what we do. We have regular team meetings and away days and everyone’s contribution is valued in ensuring we can continue to provide tailored family support and vital equipment to the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit and region.

Keely Scanlon

Community & Events Fundraiser

My role supports the fundraising team across a range of fundraising events and community activities, making sure our supporters are sent everything they need to fundraise for CHSF and feel supported throughout. I am also responsible for the CHSF lottery and heart family tree administration and fulfilling shop orders.

Sarah Cherry

Head of Family Support

My role is to help our heart families access services, provide practical support to families whilst being treated. I also set up, promote and deliver lots of exciting activities for our families.

Olivia Lewis

Digital Marketing Manager

My role is to manage and develop our social media platforms, website and digital presence as well as championing the CHSF brand and creating content to aid in our fundraising. I work to raise awareness of the charity and highlight its valuable work throughout the region.

Cath Cook

Head of Finance, Resource and Governance

I am responsible for Financial Management, co-ordinating budgets and financial reporting to help ensure that CHSF delivers as much support as possible to its beneficiaries.
