Who is this event for?

This event is designed for people aged 11 + who are living with congenital heart disease (CHD). It’s a chance to have fun, connect with others who “get it,” and enjoy a relaxed, non-medical setting.

Will there be alcohol?

Absolutely not. This is a completely alcohol-free event.

What do I need to wear?

Please wear weather appropriate clothing. We will be walking in a farm, so wellies or hiking boots are recommended if it is raining.

Can parents come too?

We encourage a drop off and pick up model; however parents are welcome to stay but will not be taking part in events. We will be encouraging the young people to go around the farm in groups.

Is there parking onsite?

Yes, but there is limited space.

What if I don't know anyone else going?

That’s totally okay! This event is designed to help you make new friends in a laid-back, supportive environment. You won’t be the only one coming solo.

How long will the event last?

The event will run for approximately 5 hours including lunch and social time.

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes, we ask that all attendees register ahead of time so we can prepare.

Is there a cost to attend?

No, the event is free but registration is required.

Who do I contact if I have more questions?

Feel free to reach out to Lucy at lucy.mcmahon@chsf.org.uk with any questions.
