CLOTHES RECYCLING BANKS
Recycle your clothes and raise money for CHSF
We’ve partnered with Nathan’s Wastesavers to place clothes recycling banks across our region so you can easily deposit any clothes, shoes, towels, bedding, curtains etc. that you no longer want.
These items might normally be placed in your recycling bin at home, but when you use one of our clothes recycling bins, you will be making a conscious effort to recycle whilst making a contribution to Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.

Elsie’s Story
“It was only when Elsie was born that we were told she had congenital heart disease. I’d never known a child to have heart problems or require surgery and it was such a scary time not knowing what the future was.”
“Elsie had open heart surgery at six months old and without the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund Elsie wouldn’t be here today. She will require more surgery again in the future, but at the moment she is doing a wonderful job of growing up with CHD.
“I know CHSF have our back no matter what, they will always be our family and I will be forever in debt to them for saving Elsie’s life.

Rachel, Elsie and Rachel’s dad Graham helped to place a Clothing Bin in their local town of Farsley, Leeds
“Having a local CHSF Clothing Bin is great for us and so many people and it also spreads awareness and raises those life-saving funds for the Charity. Every time I put items in the clothing bin I feel so proud of Elsie for what she has overcome, and knowing we are contributing to those vital funds makes life feel so much nicer.” — Rachel, mum to heart warrior Elsie
Nathan’s Wastesavers operates over 3000 textile banks and 500 book banks across the UK. Their continued expansion is having a real impact on the amount of material being diverted from landfill, which is helping local authorities tough recycling targets.
Tens of thousands of pounds are raised every year for charity partners, boosting fundraising and awareness of a number of local and national charities.
