We’re proud to present the premiere of our brand new video featuring heart hero Ruby Varley.

Ruby was born with a condition called Tetralogy of Fallot, which means she was born with defects in four parts of her heart. Ruby has undergone three life-saving open heart surgeries at the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit, to date.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Ruby and whole Varley family for bravely sharing their congenital heart journey so far.

Feedback from our heart families tells us that sharing stories helps other patients and families dealing with a diagnosis of CHD to realise they are not alone and that there is support available from CHSF.

Ruby is just one of the thousands of babies, children and adults living with congenital heart disease in our region.

Our charity exists to provide the funding and resources needed to care for a patient’s heart, mind, family and future. By giving a regular donation to CHSF, you enable us to plan for the future while saving lives today.
