CHSF Facebook Group
As this is a private group, you’ll just need to answer a couple of questions to join. We’ll approve you as soon as possible!
CHSF’s private Facebook group is a welcoming space where heart families can connect with others who understand what they’re going through.
The group is made up of people living with congenital heart disease, as well as parents and family members. Many find it a hugely supportive place to share experiences, ask questions and feel less alone.
Over the years, the group has helped build lasting friendships and support networks. We’re incredibly proud to see how our heart families look out for and support one another.
The group was set up in 2010 and now has more than 5,700 members. To keep it a safe and supportive space, new members are asked a few simple questions before joining. Our marketing team also keeps an eye on posts to make sure everyone is kind, respectful and follows the group guidelines.
Being part of the group can help families feel reassured, supported and connected. Members often share tips and advice based on their own experiences, but it’s not a place for medical advice. If medical questions come up, we always encourage people to speak to their hospital team. We also ask members for their thoughts on things like our events and the support we offer, and we use the group to share updates and news about CHSF.
