Alayna was born with multiple, life-threatening heart conditions.
At just 8 months old, she had her first heart operation at the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit.
Although this was a success, the doctors knew she would need a more complicated surgery when she was older.
Alayna had her open heart surgery in February this year in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
Alayna is now back home and recovering with her family thanks to the incredible work of the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit.
