FAQs:
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is specially designed for adult patients living with congenital heart disease (CHD) and parents who are supported by CHSF. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have lived with CHD for years, this event is a chance to relax, create and connect with others in the CHD community.
Do I need any wreath-making experience?
Not at all! This workshop is completely beginner friendly. The team will guide you step-by-step through the moss wreath-making process.
What will I be making?
You’ll be making a beautiful, handcrafted moss wreath using sustainable and natural materials. You’ll leave with a finished wreath to take home perfect for your door or as a seasonal decoration.
Is everything provided?
Please bring garden gloves and your own little secateurs if possible. Please bring a bag of greenery with you for your wreath.
Is there a cost to attend?
This workshop is free of charge for adults with CHD and heart parents, thanks to the generous support of CHSF donors.
Can I bring a friend or carer?
Absolutely. If you need assistance or feel more comfortable with someone you know, you’re welcome to bring a carer or friend. Just let us know in advance when booking.
Why is CHSF running this?
At CHSF, we believe in supporting adult CHD patients beyond hospital care. Workshops like this offer a chance to relax, meet others who understand your journey and focus on your wellbeing in a supportive, creative space.
What if I’m not very crafty?
No experience is needed! You’ll be guided step-by-step by friendly workshop leaders and there’s no pressure to make anything “perfect.” It’s all about having a good time, trying something new, and connecting with others.
Will there be refreshments?
Yes! Light snacks and refreshments will be available. If you have dietary requirements, please let us know when you sign up.
