Meet FREDIE: Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement at CHSF.
Fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement are at the heart of everything we do at Children’s Heart Surgery Fund: as a charity, an employer and a support service.
We are proud to celebrate the unique things that make our diverse community of patients, families and colleagues who they are.
These principles are rooted in our charity’s mission and vision which includes how we aim to challenge and overcome barriers to equality, diversity and inclusion, be true to our values and be a good employer.
We have been working with the National Centre for Diversity to measure how we demonstrate the FREDIE qualities at CHSF and are proud to have been awarded the small charity’s ‘Investors in Diversity Award’.
